Our Policies

We take great care in raising our alpacas and take the same care to provide you with a quality product for your enjoyment. All of our meat is inspected by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, vacuum sealed, and frozen.

Shipping

Your order will be packed in a reusable, insulated cooler with either dry ice or a gel pack and shipped via FedEx. Please take note of the optimal ordering amount for each product, as this insures that you are utilizing your shipping cooler to its optimum (for example, an order with 3 packages of ground alpaca meat may in fact incur the same shipping costs as 5 packages, even with the cooler half empty).

Orders are shipped out on Mondays or Tuesdays. If there is extreme weather that may delay shipping times, we will not ship but will contact you to give you an update on when your order is expected to be shipped out.

When your order arrives please open it immediately and refrigerate or freeze your alpaca meat. Some thawing may occur, but so long as it’s cool to the touch, the product is safe. Since our product is vacuum-sealed, you can refreeze it without a significant loss in meat quality. If you have any concerns, please contact us.

Pick-Up Option

For local customers, we have a pick-up option available. By selecting this option, you will save on shipping. We will put together your order and then have it ready for you to pick up at the farm. Please watch for an email from us to arrange with you the day and time of pickup.
